Who is Goddess Siddhidatri?

Goddess Siddhidatri is depicted sitting on a lotus or riding a lion, and she is often shown with four arms holding a lotus, mace, discus, and conch. Her appearance symbolizes the ultimate state of perfection and the attainment of spiritual fulfillment.

Symbolism and Significance

Worshipping Goddess Siddhidatri on the ninth day of Navratri is believed to grant the devotees all eight Siddhis, offering a complete transformation of the soul and mind. She embodies completeness and mystical ability.

Celebrating Goddess Siddhidatri

On this day, devotees perform special pujas and Yagnas to honor Goddess Siddhidatri. Pink, a color denoting universal love and purity, is particularly associated with this day.

Guidelines for Ninth Day Sadhana:Sri Devi Siddhidatri

•Do It everyday at same place and same time

• Sit on a woollen mat (you can also use chair but keep woolen mat below your feet) in a quiet place in a comfortable position with spine kept straight and facing east or north for the meditation.

• Chant OM Nine times to balance you energy centers in the body

• Do deep breathing for 3–5 minutes

• Imagine divine mother Durga at your Ajna Chakra (in between the eyebrows) and worship mentally by offering flowers while chanting mantra. Chant the mantra for 108 times or 15- 30 min as given below:

“Om Hreem shreem Siddhidatri Durgaaye namaha Om Hreem Dum Durgaaye namaha”

ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं सिद्धिदात्री दुर्गायै नमः ॐ ह्रीं दुं दुर्गायै नमः
