Who is Goddess Kushmanda?

Kushmanda, the smiling goddess, is associated with health, strength, and vitality. Her worship is said to improve health and bestow wealth and strength. Her luminous presence symbolizes the light of divine consciousness.
Celebrating Goddess Kushmanda
Devotees offer prayers and perform rituals, often including the offering of pumpkins, which is believed to be her favorite. The day is associated with the color green, signifying growth and nature.
Guidelines for fourth Day Sadhana: Sri Devi Kushmanda
•Do It everyday at same place and same time
• Sit on a woollen mat (you can also use chair but keep woolen mat below your feet) in a quiet place in a comfortable position with spine kept straight and facing east or north for the meditation.
• Chant OM Nine times to balance you energy centers in the body
• Do deep breathing for 3–5 minutes
• Imagine divine mother Durga at your Ajna Chakra (in between the eyebrows) and worship mentally by offering flowers while chanting mantra. Chant the mantra for 108 times or 15- 30 min as given below:
“Om Hreem shreem Kushmanda Durgaaye namaha Om Hreem Dum Durgaaye namaha”
ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं कुष्मांडा दुर्गायै नमः ॐ ह्रीं दुं दुर्गायै नमः
