Root Chakra Forgiveness

Root Chakra Forgiveness

Step 1: Hand Positions Meditation

– Find a quiet and comfortable space to sit with your eyes closed.

FOREHEAD —BACK HEAD:

Place your left hand on your forehead and the right hand on back of your head. Take a deep breath in and say silently in your mind when you exhale : “I am safe.” Again take a breath and say silently in your mind when you exhale : “I am alive.” One more breath inhale and say silently in your mind when you exhale: “I am here.”

HEAD SIDES : Place your hands on either side of your head and repeat the same affirmations: “I am safe, I am alive, I am here.”

Continue this process for the following hand positions:

FOREHEAD — CHEST: Right hand on Forehead and left hand on chest

CHEST — BELLY: Left hand on Chest and right hand is on belly

BELLY -BACK OF THE HEAD Right hand on belly and left hand is on the back of the head (on the brain stem).

Repeat each step and affirmations three times.

Step 2: Root Chakra Forgiveness Meditation

– After completing the hand positions meditation, focus on your root chakra, located at the base of your spine.

– Visualize a vibrant red light at the base of your spine, representing your root chakra.

– With each inhale, imagine breathing in healing energy, and with each exhale, release any fear, insecurity, or past experiences that no longer serve you.

– Repeat the following affirmations:

“I release all fear and insecurity from my root chakra. I am grounded and supported by the universe.”

– “I forgive myself and others for any past experiences that have caused me to feel unsafe. I trust in the process of life.”

– Sit in stillness for a few moments, allowing the energy of forgiveness and stability to permeate your being.

Step 3: Activities to activate the root chakra

Give your body some type of movement. Even just walking around the block or doing yoga can help. Another great way to connect to the body is through the earth. Walk barefoot and feel like an extension of the ground.

Try gardening, visiting a conservatory, or getting a house plant. Additionally, try planting your feet in sand or dirt.

Step 4: Reflection and Integration

– Take a few minutes to journal about your experience. Reflect on any emotions or insights that arose during the meditation.

– Consider how you can incorporate forgiveness and stability into your daily life. What actions can you take to nurture your root chakra and cultivate a sense of grounding and trust?

– Make a commitment to yourself to practice this meditation regularly, allowing it to guide you on your journey of healing and transformation.
